Ever since my father agreed to let two photographers share
space in his used bookstore in Bisbee, I've been in love with
photography. Before seeing their prints I had never realized
how much control over the image one could have. I was amazed
by all the tones that could come out in a black & white print.

With the help of Bisbee photographer Richard Byrd's help and
encouragement I learned many things that would have taken me
years of struggling on my own. I still recall my first print
coming up in the developer. This was great! Many evenings have
turned into early mornings in the darkroom.

Over the last twenty years I've narrowed my photographic vision
down to the "urban landscape." Small aspects of the world around
me and the study of light that falls upon it. In other words

"common subjects in an uncommon light."-GJK
